OUR STORY

Divine Blessings Farm began with a leap of faith. Deb and Brian Ackerson traded in the hustle of everyday life for wide open pastures, moving to Pearl City, Illinois to build the farm life they'd always dreamed of. What started as a fresh start for two soon grew into something much bigger — a true family affair, now shared with all five of their grown children.

Somewhere along the way, a small herd of miniature Highland cows stole their hearts (and, we're guessing, refused to give them back). With their shaggy coats, gentle eyes, and unmistakable charm, these fluffy sweethearts turned out to be impossible to keep to themselves. So Divine Blessings Farm opened its gates — bringing that same warmth, wonder, and wag-your-tail happiness straight to weddings and celebrations across Northwestern Illinois.

Today the farm is home to our Luxury Event Rental Beverage-Steers and their mini friends, plus a seasonal roadside Farmstand and fresh flower cutting garden — a little something for everyone who stops by.

    Waffles

    Waffles is proof that the best things in life are the ones that stick around. This light-coated sweetheart takes a few minutes to warm up — and once he does, he's yours for the day. Loyal, gentle, and endlessly affectionate, Waffles has a habit of finding his favorite person at every event and simply refusing to leave their side. Consider yourself chosen!

  • Cappuccino "Cappy"

    This little ball of orange fluff is exactly as sweet as his name sounds. Cappy is young, full of energy, and always ready for his next adventure — but the second he settles in next to you, he turns into the biggest cuddle bug on the farm. Playful one moment and leaning into a hug the next, Cappy has a way of making everyone around him fall in love a little fast.

  • Sullivan

    “Sully” is as unique as you can get in highland coloring. In the cooler months he boasts a rich black coat, but his deep red highlights shine during the summer months. His striking features make this lovable boy an amazing photo addition for any event.
